CELLIANT® MINERAL TECHNOLOGY

Minerals inside the fibre — not on the surface.

The detailed technical explanation of how Celliant® works in ReflexWear® textiles, and the documentation the claims are based on.

How it works

Body heat in, infrared back

ReflexWear® with Celliant® technology uses mineral-based fibres that interact with natural body heat and emit infrared energy back toward the body.

1

Your body releases heat

The body continuously releases heat energy through the skin.

2

Minerals in the yarn absorb it

Celliant® embeds mineral-based particles directly into the fibres.

3

Energy is converted to infrared

The mineral particles convert part of the absorbed heat into infrared energy.

4

Infrared returns toward the body

The infrared energy is emitted back toward the body.

Step 1 / 41 / 4

  • Returns infrared energy toward the body

Fibre and minerals

How the minerals sit inside the yarn.

The mineral particles are blended into the fibre mass itself before the yarn is spun. They are therefore part of the fibre rather than a layer applied to the surface of the textile.

ReflexWear® fibres contain Celliant® minerals that are embedded in the yarn itself. The minerals capture the body's own heat and return part of it toward the body as infrared energy, supporting temperature regulation during everyday wear. Because the minerals sit inside the fibre, the technology does not wash out.

Durability

Why the technology does not wash out.

Because the minerals sit inside the fibre, they cannot be washed or worn off the surface. The technology is designed to last for the life of the garment.

Approved claims

What we may say — and why.

Only approved wording backed by documentation is shown here. Each claim is linked to its source.

  • Celliant® minerals are embedded in the fibre itself, not printed or coated onto the surface.
